Briana Johnson Clark County Assessor Briana Johnson was elected Clark County Assessor on November 6, 2018. Prior to being elected, she proudly served the public for over 20 years in the Assessor's Office. She started in 1995 and held various positions in the Appraisal Division, including Manager of Property Appraisal, prior to being promoted to Assistant Director of Assessment Services in 2016.
As Assessor, Briana oversees the daily operations of the Office and the assessment of approximately 775,000 parcels, 25,000 manufactured homes and 45,000 businesses in Clark County. In addition, she supervises the processing of approximately 80,000 exemptions for the Blind, Veterans and Surviving Spouses.
Johnson is a native of Las Vegas who graduated from Valley High School. She later graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Briana holds a Property Tax Appraiser Certificate in both real and personal property from the State of Nevada.
Her professional affiliations include International Association of Assessing Officers and the Nevada Assessors Association. Briana is also a member of Toastmasters International.
Mary Ann Weidner

Mary Ann Weidner has been Assistant Director of Assessment Services since 2020. During her 18+ years of experience with the Assessor's Office, she started as an appraiser trainee and was later promoted to a property appraiser, an appraisal analyst and then a manager of property appraisal.
Weidner became a Las Vegas resident in 1999 after moving from South Florida, by way of Utah. She graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and earned a Master’s in Public Administration from UNLV. She started her career with Clark County bringing prior experience in real estate and commercial property management. Weidner is certified in both real and personal property appraisal by the State of Nevada and holds a Residential Appraiser Specialist (RES) designation from the IAAO.
Her affiliations include the Nevada Assessor's Association and the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO).
