The Clark County School District (CCSD) has begun to recruit personnel for the 2024-2025 School Year. As of today, CCSD estimates it will need at least 1400 new teachers and approximately 500 new support staff. Those numbers will probably increase with retirements and attrition.
Heroes to Education is a public-private non-profit partnership working with CCSD and other school districts in our state (with no cost to the districts, the State, or the Participant). Our goal is to make veterans, Nevada National Guard members, Reservists, those leaving military service within a short period of time, their spouses, and the spouses of active-duty personnel aware of opportunities in Nevada Public Education in general and in Clark County in particular that will allow them to continue to make a difference in a second career.
The range of opportunities available in our school districts include K-12 teaching, career-technical teaching positions, administrative, school nurse, social worker, occupational and physical therapists, school safety officers, IT, operations, skilled trade, bus drivers and more.
