Every week the Office of Public Safety Officers join with the Clark County CARE Team, a special team of social workers, to engage those suffering from homelessness, mental health or substance abuse issues and connect them with needed services. The OPS/CARE outreach focuses on the homeless who are in County parks in an effort to help them move into a stable, healthy environment. The outreach has the dual benefit of helping to reduce homelessness in the parks and also ensure public safety in our parks for all residents and their families.
