Office of Public Safety Security Officers provide security functions at Clark County offices.  They respond to inquiries and provide informational assistance to the public.  The Security Officers also man the Clark County dispatch line and are part of the Office of Public Safety's response team if security situations arise.    

The Security Officer Roving Patrol units help enhance the security of county parks by performing roving security patrols in county parks, locking park facilities at closing hours, and providing important observation and reporting functions of law enforcement issues in county parks to the Office of Public Safety Police Officers.
