Application Period Open For Certain TAB/CAC Open Seats
Clark County invites civic-minded residents to help shape the future of their communities by serving on local advisory boards. The county is currently accepting applications for open seats on the Town Advisory Boards (TAB) in Bunkerville and Moapa, and the Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) in Lower Kyle Canyon.
Clark County is currently accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving on the Bunkerville and Moapa Town Advisory Boards, as well as the Citizens Advisory Council for Lower Kyle Canyon, to complete a term that ends in January 2026.
The TABs and CACs serve an important advisory and liaison function relaying concerns and other important information between unincorporated towns and the County government. The boards and councils hold public meetings at least once a month to discuss and make recommendations on long-term planning, zoning changes, public works projects, County programs and ordinances that may affect their town.
Applicants must be eligible to vote, live within the area encompassed by the Town Advisory Board (TAB) or Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) they are applying for, and attend annual training.
