On January 18, 2022, Lisa Logsdon was appointed to lead the Civil Division of the Clark County District Attorney’s Office and serve as County Counsel for Clark County.

Ms. Logsdon began her career in the District Attorney’s office in 2009, as a law clerk in the Civil Division, and was promoted to Deputy District Attorney the same year. In over a decade in the Civil Division, Ms. Logsdon has represented many Clark County Departments, Elected Officials and public bodies.  

Ms. Logsdon earned her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2004 and her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in 2009, where she graduated with honors. She moved to Las Vegas in 2008 to complete an internship in the Civil Division of the Clark County District Attorney Office, fell in love with Las Vegas, and has made it her home ever since.  She is a member of the Nevada Bar as well as the California Bar.

Ms. Logsdon participates in Transitioning into Practice as a mentor for new attorneys admitted to the Nevada State Bar, and also volunteers with various animal rescue groups in Las Vegas.
