Clark County Public Arts presents Compassionate Curiosity: Youth Arts Workshop with Hue

Youth are invited to contribute to a public artwork in this hands-on workshop. Participants will be led by artist Hue to use fabric and cardboard to answer your funniest questions. Youth participants’ work will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the center.

Clark County Public Arts presents African Masks: Youth Arts Workshop with Brent Holmes

Youth ages 9-17 are invited to learn about African mask making traditions and contribute to a sculptural public work at Whitney Recreation Center. Participants will be led by artist Brent Holmes in African mask making traditions, highlighting the regional practices of the Bobo in Burkina Faso. Work will create sculptures that respond to these traditions. Youth participants’ work will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the center.

Clark County Public Arts presents The Magic of Blueprints: Youth Arts Workshop with Emily Relf.

Youth ages 5-17 are invited to transform their collages into blueprints using the science of cyanotype with artist Emily Relf. Student’s work will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the museum. Families Welcome!
