Cultures of Las Vegas talking with special guests from Las Vegas' Thai community about the history and growth of the local Thai community, Thai cultural influence on the younger generation and Thai food, “then and now.”
Joining Bhoolsuwan for the show are John Zeigler, president of the Las Vegas Children Foundation, Nevada Assemblywoman Cecilia Gonzales, Attorney Ranee Samerthai, Onpreeya Long and Claudia Nipakorn Long of the Pong Lang Las Vegas Dance Group, Dr. Christian Giovanni of the Thai Culture Foundation, Asian-Thai News Presenter Santhana Foster, Suntharee Balthazor of Sun’s Beef Jerky, Pitch Pukdee of Sun’s Thai Food and Mark Padoongpat, author and director of Asian and Asian American Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Bhoolsuwan is currently the owner and founder of Patranya Media LLC.

The show was produced by the Clark County Office of Public Communications and Clark County Television to coincide with the Lunar New Year, or "Chinese New Year," which occurs in 2020 on Jan. 25 and ushers in the Year of the Rat.

"Cultures of Las Vegas: The Poles," is a discussion of the culture, traditions and history of the Polish people in the Las Vegas Valley and beyond. Guest moderated by Jerry Brown of KSNV Channel 3, "Cultures of Las Vegas: The Poles" is a 48-minute discussion featuring Father Gerry Grupczynski, pastor of Our Lady of Las Vegas church; Iwona Podrorski of The Polish American Social Club of Las Vegas; Elzbieta Youngman, president of St. John Paul II Polish School and member of the Piast Polish Dance Group, and UNLV Polish-American student Nicholas Beker. Singers Grazyna Mierzwinski and Antoni Cembrzynski performed. And delicacies from The Polish Deli at 5900 W Charleston Blvd. were displayed. This show was produced by the Clark County Office of Public Communications & CCTV to coincide with Poland's Independence Day, which was Nov. 11. It will air on Clark County Television (CCTV) through Dec. 15.

It is moderated by Fox 5 KVVU Television's Tiana Bohner. This 50-minute discussion features Dorinda Burnet and Rozita Lee of the Las Vegas Hawaiian Club, Mark Padoongpatt, an author and professor of Asian American Studies at UNLV and Wayne Tanaka, long-time educator who has an elementary school in his namesake. There are more than a quarter-million Asians and Pacific Islanders inhabiting Clark County today, and their influence upon Las Vegas is widespread and profound.
