Inspections


Construction Management Development Division completes inspections on Developer/Property Owner privately funded projects.  The responsibilities of off-site inspections include the safety, quality and effectiveness of all County infrastructure (off-site) projects to ensure projects meet County codes.  Off-site projects include but are not limited to:  streets, temporary traffic control, streetlights, sidewalks, gutters, sewers, box culverts, storm drains, trenching and utility poles in the County right-of-way. 

Inspection Scheduling
Inspections are scheduled through Construction Management Development Division Dispatch at (702)-455-4610.  Dispatch is available Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  Dispatch is also available via email at dispatch@clarkcountynv.gov
In addition to the telephone line request number, an email request is now available for use in order to schedule inspections.

Please ensure the request form is used when requesting an inspection.  The form can be copied and pasted into the body of your inspection request email or added as an attachment.  Only send one individual request at a time, multiple requests in the same email will delay scheduling of your inspection request.  All inspection request emails are to be sent to dispatch@clarkcountynv.gov

Prefinal/Final Inspection Request
Requests for Prefinal/Final Inspection must be made in writing and emailed to dispatch@clarkcountynv.gov.  Prefinal/Final Electric inspections are to be made via the Dispatch Line at (702)-455-4610.

Overtime Inspections
Overtime inspections are available on a first come first serve basis and are dependent on staff availability. Overtime requests must be received no later than 1:30 p.m. on the date the overtime is to be performed.  The request must be made in writing and emailed to dispatch@clarkcountynv.gov.  All requests will have a confirmation of approval/denial. No inspection should be assumed unless you have received an approved confirmation.

Electrical Inspections-Asset Collection
In addition to the required installation electrical inspections, Clark County also requires the installing contractor to supply specific asset information prior to close out of a project.  Information required includes but, is not limited to: type, location, address, coordinates, meter number, amps, height, etc.  Specific forms are also required to catalog the information which have been provided below.
