The improvements generally consist of hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement and/or rehabilitation of existing asphalt pavement, ADA upgrades, traffic signal modifications, upgrade lighting to LED, traffic control devices, pavement markings, median island installation/modifications, ITS infrastructure installation, new storm drain, and storm drain drop inlets, and utility relocations.
The project is located along the westbound and eastbound shoulders of the Clark County 215 Beltway from Jones Boulevard to Revere Street. The work includes storm drain modifications and Sound Wall Installation. Installation of Wrong Way Signage at the exit ramps of Jones Blvd, Decatur Blvd, Revere Street, N 5th Street, Losee Road, Pecos Road and Lamb Boulevard.

The work to be performed under this contract is to widen CC 215 South Bruce Woodbury Beltway from Decatur Blvd to I-15. Improvements also include drainage facilities, guardrail, concrete barrier rail, signage, high mast and conventional lighting, lighting replacement, milling, pavement markings, chain-link fence and gate, ITS infrastructure, overhead sign structure, traffic count station, signs, and utility adjustments. Improvements include the construction of a bridge structure over UPRR, bridge structure for braided WB Decatur off ramp, and bridge modifications to existing Valley View Boulevard Bridge.
Storm Drains - Maryland Pkwy/Pyle Ave, Kentucky Ave/Clark St, Merrill Ave/Tropicana Ave, and Sunrise St/Clayton Ave
The work to be performed at Maryland Parkway and Pyle Avenue includes construction of a horizontal elliptical reinforced concrete pipe (HERCP), storm drain manhole, connection to existing downstream concrete pipe, a drop inlet replacement, abandonment of an existing storm drain pipe, pavement removal and replacement, utility relocations, and pavement striping.
The work to be performed at Kentucky Avenue and Clark Street includes construction of a 28’L x 2’W trench drain, a horizontal elliptical reinforced concrete pipe (HERCP), storm drain manhole, construction of a drain headwall, pavement removal and replacement, pavement striping, utility relocations, valley gutter reconstruction, channel excavation, channel re-profiling, and installation of a gravel mulch liner. The general location of this portion of work is Kentucky Avenue and Boulder Highway.
The work to be performed at Merrill Avenue and Tropicana Avenue includes asphalt replacement, curb and gutter replacement, installation of asphalt swale, valley gutter replacement, installation of 5’ U-channel, and landscaping restoration.
The work to be performed at Clayton Street and Sunrise Avenue is the construction of a storm drain system along Clayton Street and Park Avenue that consists of drop inlet, 18-inch RCP, excavation, manholes, reprofiling of the pavement, and other related items of work.
