Military and overseas voters need to submit an FPCA

Due Dates
: Military and overseas residents must submit an FPCA sent by postal mail for the June 9, 2020 State/Federal Primary Election no later May 12, 2020 (postmark date) to register to vote or update existing registration, and to request a mail/absentee ballot.
Military and overseas residents must submit an FPCA sent by e-mail or fax for the June 9, 2020 State/Federal Primary Election no later than June 2, 2020 (transmission date) to register to vote or update existing registration, and to request a mail/absentee ballot.
Timeframe of When to Expect Your Mail/Absentee Ballot
Delivery of mail ballots begins 45 days before Election Day for all voters. If you request a mail/absentee ballot and do not receive it at least 10 days before Election Day, IMMEDIATELY contact the Clark County Election Department. Do not delay as short timeframes will make it difficult for you to receive, vote and return a mail/absentee ballot by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Voted FPCA Mail/Absentee Ballot Due Date and Time
Due dates for your voted FPCA mail/absentee ballot vary according to how you send it:

- Electronic Transmission (E-Mail or Fax): The Election Department must RECEIVE electronically transmitted voted FPCA mail/absentee ballots no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, in order for your ballot to be counted.

Use the FPCA
To register to vote and/or request a mail/absentee ballot, military personnel and their dependents (spouse or children over 18) temporarily living outside of the state of Nevada, and Clark County residents temporarily living overseas, should submit a “Registration and Absentee Ballot Request - Federal Post Card Application” (FPCA) instead of the standard Registration Application and/or Mail Ballot Request Card.
