The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Authorized under the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, the purpose of the program is to expand the supply of decent, safe, affordable housing through partnerships with Units of General Local Governments and non-profit or for-profit entities.

Current Funding Opportunities

Clark County is making a County-owned site available for the development of affordable rental housing for seniors.  The application to apply for this site also includes an opportunity to receive CHF and Off-Cycle HOME/AAHTF funds for development.  The Program Guide and Application Instructions can be found here:

Clark County has invested HOME Investment Partnerships Program funding in Patriot Place Apartments, affordable housing for veterans that was built in partnership with Accessible Space, Inc. Learn more in the video below.  

 


HOME Final Rule
HUD published a Final Rule in the Federal Register on July 24, 2013 to amend the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program regulations. These amendments to the HOME regulations represent the most significant changes to the HOME Program in 17 years.

2012 HOME Program (New Requirements)

Clark County Section 3 Policy and Procedures

The Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act of 2012 (P.L 112-55) imposed new requirements on projects that receive FY 2012 funds from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).  The purpose of these requirements is to improve project and developer selection by participating jurisdictions (PJs) and ensure that there is adequate market demand for FY 2012 HOME projects.
