Pamela "Pam" Weckerly graduated from the UCLA School of Law. Subsequently, she served as a federal judicial law clerk in the District of Nevada. After completing the clerkship, she joined the Office of the District Attorney in Clark County. Her first position was working as a law clerk in the Appellate Division.
After taking the Nevada bar, she was promoted to work as a deputy district attorney on a general litigation team. Pam was then promoted to the position of chief deputy and assigned to the Special Victims Unit. In that position, she handled many cases involving child physical and sexual abuse, adult sexual assault, and child homicides. Subsequently, Pam was moved to the Major Violators Unit where she was assigned homicide cases. During her time on Major Violators, Pam served as the Assistant Team Chief of Homicide and, eventually, the Team Chief of Major Violators. In that position, she supervised the Gun, Gang, and Homicide teams as well as maintaining a homicide caseload.
Over the years, Pam has tried literally dozens of homicide cases, including most recently, the retrial of the State of Nevada v. Thomas Randolph and the trial of the State of Nevada v. Robert Telles. Pam also has represented the State of Nevada in front of the Nevada Court of Appeals and the Nevada Supreme Court.
