Division of Victim Witness Assistance Center

Created in 1976, VWAC strives to provide victim centered services through best practices and community partnerships. Victim Services is a division of the Clark County District attorney's Office designated to ensure victims are informed and supported throughout the criminal justice process.  Victim Witness Advocates work closely with deputy district attorney’s and are specially trained and educated to help children, elders, disabled persons, and violent crime victims. 

The Victim Witness Assistance Center can provide services to help you during all phases of the court case and can provide you with resources and referrals. 

Victims and witnesses are advised that they may receive a subpoena to testify and are encouraged to contact our office to speak with their assigned advocate for further information regarding the status of a case or any victim related services.
