Diane Bush
Diane Bush, a 24 year Las Vegas resident, may be best known for her design and installation of the Yarn Bombed Sunrise Hospital pedestrian bridge, or her TOY CAPSULE wall at the Paseo Verde Library. Her early photographic work has been exhibited and published internationally and now resides in the collections of MOMA, The Tate and the V&A in London. Lately, the fiber arts and mixed media creations have been fueling Bush's creative instincts, and new works have been on display at several Las Vegas Galleries, since December.

Jennifer Deveraux is a self-taught artist from Las Vegas, Nevada. In her early artwork, Jennifer used paper, pencils, and sometimes a Bic pen, one of her favorite drawing utensils to capture people, animals and nature in a realistic style. Later in life, her art style turned toward more of the abstract and character based creations and paintings in acrylics. Her hope with this installation, is to present a piece a little outside her comfort zone. She loves to sculpt, and studied ceramics in college. With her piece Snail Under a Tree, she will attempt to combine a little of all her talents into one. Mark Salinas is an independent art consultant based in Reno, Nevada. As a practicing public artist, he has been awarded commissions across the county including Times Square and Lake Tahoe as well as artist residencies in Scotland and France.  Instagram: marksteelwoolsalinas

Angela M. Brommel is a Nevada writer with Iowa roots. In 2018, her chapbook, Plutonium & Platinum Blonde, was published by Serving House Books. Her poetry has been published in The Best American Poetry blog, the North American Review, The Literary Review’s (TLR) Share, and many other journals and anthologies. A 2018 Red Rock Canyon Artist in Residence, Angela served as the inaugural poet of the program. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University and an MA in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. Mojave in July is her debut full-length poetry collection. Nova May is a local Las Vegas sculptor and installation artist. Her work “The Love Locket” is permanently displayed downtown at Container Park. Nova May has created Site Specific Installations for the Delano Art Series at Mandalay Bay, Art Motel with Meow Wolf for the Life is Beautiful Festival, Windows on First Temporary Art Series at City Hall, The Winchester Center, and in the Arts Factory.

NVArtStops
Debbie Lambin, resident of Carson City and artist who specialize in turning books into sculptures. She, along with her daughter Rachael, created the 2019 Artown poster celebrating the arts for Nevada and California. She designed this sculpture as a collaboration along with her husband David and Las Vegas resident, Julie Okabayashi as all three started a soon to be non-for-profit NVArtStops through the Nevada Art Council to bring this art form to all that would like to learn more about it. Debbie is making a name for herself in Las Vegas as she is currently in the 5th Street Gallery, Doc Pearson Community Center and will be in the City of Las Vegas presenting “Sizable” that will be in the rotunda. Her art form once started as only paper and books has now incorporated into much mixed media.

Rebecca Sullinger
Rebecca Sullinger is a Las Vegas based artist creating work that encourages interactive and perspective-shifting experiences between people and their environment. Her mission grew from a drive to bring the wonder of the natural world to the forefront of public spaces and inspire creative intrigue with immersive art. With a passion for nature, she is inspired by landscapes and creatures, using this imagery to invoke a connection with the viewer to the world around them. Much of her work is created site specific, intended to relate to its placement, location, and surroundings.

Shoshana Zeldner
Shoshana Zeldner is an artist who is passionate about how art can promote social change and community building. In her current role as Program Manager with the University of Nevada, Reno School for the Arts, Shoshana is committed to developing arts programming that strengthens community and inspires creativity, participation and conversation.

Valentin Yordanov
Valentin Yordanov was born in 1986 in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Now he lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada. He received his education of Fine Arts in Bulgaria. Recognized Valentin Yordanov won a Fine Arts Scholarship Grant to study at the Bucharest National Academy of Arts, Romania. Accomplishing intensive drawing trips around Europe including Vienna and Budapest with couple of major exhibitions. After he completed his Art Education, the urban explorer was on the way to enlarge his mental maps discovering the new world and settles up at his studio in the Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2020, Valentin Yordanov started his 10th year artist in residency at the beautiful Las Vegas.

Vanessa Maciel was born in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. She moved to Las Vegas five years ago with her family. Her art was first discovered at the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center, which lead her to start teaching workshops of making Mexican paper maché art.

Vezun
The son of immigrant parents, Vezun grew up with a culture clash present in his thoughts.  A self-taught Las Vegas based visual artist, Vezun's career path has been outside of the mainstream.  He has self-published, exhibited in shows, been published, shown in film festivals, received grants, and done public art.  With his work, he experiments with formats, styles, techniques and organizing color palettes but his work is about him going inward.

Dan Brady is an artist who mainly works in painting, drawing, and photography. His work highlights social interaction with environments. Since the start of the pandemic, Dan Brady has begun actively creating art again. Dan Brady was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He graduated from American Academy of Art.  Brady moved to Las Vegas nearly 20 years ago. He approaches art with three major beliefs: experimentation, nothing is impossible, and include the viewer in some way.

My name is Wendy Armitage I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I found my love for visual design while attending Las Vegas Academy.  When I heard about the wetlands opportunity, I was immediately inspired with a head full of ideas for such a wonderful place.   I am grateful to contribute a piece to this public art project.  I wanted to create something playful that represented the wildlife here, giant bunny ears seemed the magical choice.
