Vegas Strong Resiliency Center Providing Services Under New Name: Resiliency & Justice Center
The Resiliency & Justice Center serves as a key resource to assist anyone struggling with impacts from the UNLV shooting.
Clark County is assisting with the response to the shooting at the UNLV campus. Updates will be provided on this page, and additional information is available by clicking on the News Releases button below.
Resiliency & Justice Center:
The Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, established by Clark County and partners following the 1 October shooting now has a new name, the Resiliency & Justice Center. The center is a key community resource for providing trauma-related care as a result of incidents of mass violence. The center is a resource hub to address individualized needs and is working closely with crisis support services that are available to UNLV students and staff.
The center is located at 2915 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 100, and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is (702) 455-AIDE (2433).

Donations:
The Resiliency & Justice Center, in collaboration with UNLV and the UNLV Foundation, has set up a fund to accept donations for families of victims who died in the incident and to help those who suffered severe physical injuries. Click here to donate on the center's website if you are interested in contributing to the fund.

Classes and Winter Commencement:
There will be no on-campus, in-person finals closing out the fall semester. Students should check the UNLVStrong site for updates on arrangements regarding classes, finals and final grading processes.
Winter Commencement for undergraduates will be held as originally planned Tuesday, Dec. 19, from noon to 5 p.m.; ceremonies for master's and doctoral programs will take place Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 4 p.m.

Professor Cha-Jan Chang (known as "Jerry"), 64, of Henderson
Assistant Professor Patricia Navarro Velez, 39, of Las Vegas
Associate Professor Naoko Takemaru, 69, of Las Vegas
