Safety-Conscious Job Candidates Invited to Attend Upcoming Crossing Guard Hiring Events

The Crossing Guard Company, a division of All City Management Services (ACMS), is hosting two hiring events on Feb. 11 and Feb. 13 to recruit crossing guards for the remainder of the current school year and the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Clark County contracts with ACMS to provide crossing guard services. With an ongoing need for crossing guards throughout the Las Vegas Valley, the jobs offer great opportunities for safety-conscious community members to make a difference while earning extra income. The hiring events will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
- Tuesday, Feb. 11: Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave., 89122 (near Nellis Boulevard)
- Thursday, Feb. 13: ACMS Office, 4775 W. Teco Ave., Suite 235, 89118 (near Sunset Road and Decatur Boulevard)
“Crossing guards are everyday heroes in our community who help ensure the safety of students coming and going from school,” said Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft. “They play a vital role in creating safer environments around schools, serving as visible reminders for motorists to slow down and be extra cautious when children are present.”
Details About the Position
Crossing guards typically work near their homes and ensure the safety of children during school hours. The position pays $17 per hour in unincorporated Clark County, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas. Working hours are approximately one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, aligning with school schedules.
What to Bring: Applicants should bring two forms of ID, including:
- A government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, school ID, or voter registration card.
- A second ID, such as a U.S. Social Security card, certified birth certificate, or U.S. Department of Homeland Security employment authorization document.
Requirements – Applicants Must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Pass a background check.
- Complete a fingerprinting process.
