Clark County Extends Application Deadline for Advisory Board Positions
Clark County has extended the application deadline for several Town Advisory Board (TAB) and Citizen Advisory Council (CAC) positions, including a recent vacancy on the Enterprise TAB. The extension provides additional time for civic-minded residents in primarily rural areas to step forward and serve their communities.
“These advisory positions are vital to ensuring community voices are heard in local government decisions,” said Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick. “We rely on these boards to help us understand the unique needs of each community we serve.”
“A position on the Enterprise TAB is additional opportunity for community involvement and leadership," added Commissioner Michael Naft. “Advisory board members play a crucial role in shaping the future of their neighborhoods.”
Applications are now being accepted for positions on the Enterprise and Moapa TABs, as well as the Lower Kyle Canyon CAC. Board members will evaluate development proposals, bring forward community concerns, and provide valuable local perspective to the County Commission.
Updated timeline:
- Applications due: April 1, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
- Appointments by County Commission: April 15, 2025
Interested residents can obtain applications through the Clark County website or by emailing AdministrativeServices@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
Qualified candidates must be eligible to vote, live within their respective TAB or CAC boundary, and commit to attending annual training sessions.
