Resort Corridor Traffic: Temporary Lane Restrictions on Paradise Road for Underground Utility Work

With the underground utility work scheduled to begin in the resort corridor, motorists are advised of lane restrictions on Paradise Road from Sunday, March 16 through Friday, March 21 to accommodate directional boring operations beneath the wash area just north of Harmon Avenue.

Clark County reminds residents and visitors that work within the Resort Corridor follows specific guidelines to minimize impact on access to and from resort properties. The current schedule is subject to change based on field conditions.

The list of impacts includes:

  • Lane restrictions on Paradise Road north of Harmon Avenue to south of Flamingo Road from Sunday, March 16 at 9 p.m. through Thursday, March 21 at 9 p.m., reducing northbound traffic to a single lane while maintaining two southbound lanes.
  • The intersection at Harmon Avenue and Paradise Road, and Flamingo Road and Paradise Road will remain operational with minimal impact to turning movements.

RTC Transit Impacts:

Transit riders should expect possible delays on routes using Paradise Road due to lane restrictions. No stop closures or detours are planned, but buses may experience longer travel times through the affected area.

Due to the fluid nature of construction activity and traffic conditions, work schedules can change on short notice. Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and consider alternate routes. Before heading out, check navigation apps such as Apple Maps, Waze or Google Maps for the latest real-time information.
