Commissioner Kirkpatrick, Fire Station 20, Parks Department to Host Annual Pancake Breakfast, Egg Hunt Event April 19

Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and the County’s Parks & Recreation Department and Fire Station 20 are teaming up to host the free, annual pancake breakfast and “Hoppin’ Down the Bonnie Lane” egg hunt event on Saturday, April 19.

“This is a fun event for families and kids of all ages,” said Commissioner Kirkpatrick. “I look forward to hosting it all year with our great volunteers and Clark County staff from Fire Station 20, the Cora Coleman Senior Center and Bob Price Recreation Center.”

Scheduled activities include:

  • 9 a.m. to noon – The pancake breakfast and fire station open house will be held at Fire Station 20, 5865 Judson St., near Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards. Commissioner Kirkpatrick and staff and volunteers from the senior center will serve pancakes at the fire station while supplies last. The fire station open house will include raffles with prizes, “jaws of life” demonstrations used to remove victims from car crashes, tours of the Fire Department’s fire prevention safety house, and informational displays from the Office of Emergency Management and community vendors. The event also includes games and crafts.
  • 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Check in for the egg hunt event starts at 9:15 a.m., with egg hunts starting at 10 a.m. It will take place outside the Bob Price Recreation Center, 2050 Bonnie Lane, next door to the Cora Coleman Senior Center and the fire station. Ages for the egg hunts start at age 2 and up with multiple staggered times for each age group. The egg hunts will be offered in 20-minute increments. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets to collect eggs. For more information call (702) 455-7600.
