Clark County’s Public Arts Office Hosts a Free Public Art Workshop in April

Clark County Public Art Office have invited CEO, Founder and Executive Creative Producer, Ethan Bach, to talk about his company, Alt Ethos, on Tuesday, April 15 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event will take place online through a Cisco WebEx Meeting. Ethan Bach will be speaking about Illuminous, an award-winning interactive projection-mapped mural that blends art, technology, and community engagement.

Originally launched in Fort Collins, Colorado, Illuminous redefines urban space, transforming static murals into dynamic, motion-responsive experiences. Through the fusion of groundbreaking projection mapping and dynamic interactivity, the installation transforms passive observation into active participation, fostering a shared sense of wonder and unexpected artistic connection.

Bach will delve into the creative process behind Illuminous, exploring the profound impact of immersive technology on public spaces. His presentation will examine how cities can leverage interactive design to enhance community engagement, stimulate economic development, and strengthen cultural identity.
