Commissioners Becker, Kirkpatrick Team Up to Host `Great Northwest Country Fest' May 10
Clark County Commissioners April Becker and Marilyn Kirkpatrick are teaming up with 107.9 Coyote Country to host The Great Northwest Country Fest on Saturday, May 10, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Lone Mountain Equestrian Park, 4445 N. Jensen St. The park is located off West Lone Mountain Road and the Clark County 215 Beltway.
The popular event is free and features free BBQ food while supplies last, live country music, a farmer’s market, petting zoo, rock wall, barrel racing and other games and activities.
“Lone Mountain Equestrian Park is a jewel located in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, and we encourage families, kids and country music lovers of all ages to join us for this fun event,” said Commissioner Becker, whose Commission District C includes the park.
“This is a very popular event that has something for everyone to enjoy,” said Commissioner Kirkpatrick, whose Commission District B includes part of the northwest valley. “It features great food and music, and it celebrates the rural lifestyle that’s alive and well throughout Clark County.”
